Possibly one of the worst wastes of money I have ever spent.

Useless!!! Not worth the $2.99 to buy it or the time it took me to read it. Most of the book is actually about the Echo and Echo Dot usage and what they can do and about what Alexa is and can do.
The part that is about "programming" contains nothing more than one would get by simply reading the basics in the AWS developer's site. No examples or help of any kind.
Possibly one of the worst wastes of money I have ever spent.

Nothing on programming the Alexa!

Misleading title - the book is largely a very superficial user guide to the Alexa service. There is a section on programming at the end, but it is again extremely superficial, and teaches nothing on how to actually program - just a few lines. No specific steps, not a single line of code, and does not even get to mention things like Intents, Slots etc - which is the core of programming the Alexa. Really - there are 4 mentions of 'intent' in the entire book, and 0 of slots. Come on! Super disappointed.
